More than 40 people with Matheson heritage gathered at Waipu in early February to meet the Chief of Clan Matheson, Sir Alexander Matheson, and Lady Matheson.
It was a great time exploring common interests and finding family connections. The get-together was preceded by a private tour of the excellent Waipu Scottish Migration Museum. A huge thanks to museum staff and volunteers for their generous hospitality.
