After disruptions because of covid lockdowns, the summer’s Highland games programme kicked off at Hororata.   Clan Matheson was there. You can read about this in our December newsletter.

This famous whisky distillery was established at Morangie Farm near Tain by William Matheson in 1843.  It has expanded to house 12 stills, two of which resemble the original gin stills that William started with.   Glenmorangie is a fine Scotch.
